PCM Logistics Ltd owes its
existence to the establishment of the company Prompt
Computers which was founded in 1987. This was set up to
provide IT systems and services to commercial organisations,
typically medium-sized businesses, predominantly in the
Midlands. In 1989, Prompt Computer Maintenance Limited (PCM)
was established to specialise in support and maintenance
services throughout the United Kingdom. A key feature of
the company’s offer from early on was to support clients
with multiple sites to enable them to deal with a single
service provider. From these beginnings PCM Logistics Ltd
was created in November 2002 to give a more personal and
specialised IT service to businesses in the Midlands area.
Today, PCM Logistics Ltd provides IT support
on a contract basis to a wide range of companies mainly
within the Midlands area, but also to companies with a
number of sites across the UK. A major part of our work is
for businesses who wish us to support their customers whilst
they provide their own particular service or software
solution, ie 3rd party maintenance.
To this day, our aim remains to
differentiate ourselves from the large national maintenance
companies by offering a service that is responsive to
individual customer’s needs and delivered with a personal
touch.
